About

Tinalee P. De Costa is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), who has been practicing since 2014. She graduated from Texas A&M University – Central Texas with a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her main areas of focus include trauma, depression, anxiety conditions, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and borderline personality disorder. Tinalee believes that each person is the expert of one’s own self, and a therapist’s role is to support and help guide you through your journey of self-discovery as you seek answers, solutions and/or understanding. Tinalee believes it is imperative to love yourself in order to interact with the world around you in a healthy and fulfilling way. She utilizes empathy and compassion to help you develop a more positive and supportive perspective of yourself, significant people in your life, and the world around you. Throughout the treatment process you should expect to develop self-confidence and skill set(s) to help you work through, manage and/or prevent future return of problem(s) or condition(s). Her approach is evidence-based, collaborative, open-minded and non-judgmental. Her techniques and strategies are specific to your unique biology, life experiences and environment to create a more personalized experience. Tinalee works with multi-cultural, diverse, minority and majority populations. In her spare time, Tinalee enjoys the outdoors, physical activities, reading, meeting new people, learning, and spending time with loved ones.
